For the last 22 years, the IT community in Cincinnati has gotten together on the first day NCAA Men’s Basketball tournament for a day of networking, camaraderie, fun, and a chance to give back. It is called the NCAA Holy Day of Obligation, because if college basketball was a religion, the first day of the men’s tournament would be a Holy Day of Obligation. Over 1,500 people participated this year. Every year, we raise money for a local family that is dealing with a serious illness. This year, we were able to raise over $3,000 for the Graham Harden family. Graham was diagnosed with ALS last August.
