On March 31st, friends and loved ones from all facets of Graham’s life gathered in Chapel Hill to show their love and support for Graham and to raise money for his fight with ALS. New Canaan, Cincinnati, Deerfield, UNC, and Kenan-Flagler were all well represented as we teed off for the First Annual GForce Golf Tournament. After much anxiety over inclement weather all week, the rain cleared out (and we even got some Carolina blue skies!) for a great tournament and celebration of family and friendship. Special thanks to all the volunteers who helped make this event happen, and to Finley Golf Course for their efforts to make the day special for a true blue Tar Heel.
But anyone who knows this group knows that that’s not the end of the story! The celebration continued at the home of Pat Reed, who so generously offered his home for a post-tournament pig picking courtesy of Seth & Amanda Kingsbury. But what night in Chapel Hill would be complete without a trip to He’s Not Here! As for the parade of football helmet wearing revelers…..well, if you’re shocked by that I guess you don’t know the Hardens!
Thank you to everyone who joined us on this day to honor Graham and the Harden family, and to everyone who has been so generous with their time and money to enable Graham to take the fight to ALS!
